Product Details
Corundum brick have stable quality and excellent durability. These products are made mainly of calcined alumina, mullite, corundum of high purity. These bricks have low porosity, excellent hot strength and creep resistance, and good volume stability at high temperature.Jucos Corundum Brick have been developed to meet the most demanding specifications for various industrial applications.
The products have a compact structure, high compressive strength, and high temperature resistance (> 2200 "C). It has good thermal shock stability, is resistant to acid and alkaline gases, and is not affected by reducing gases such as H2 and Co.High-purity corundum products are widely used in oil or gas gasifiers, ethylene gasifiers, ammonia decomposition furnaces in petrochemical industries, carbon black reactors in the chemical industry, refractory materials and high-temperature kilns in the ceramic industry.
Corundum brick refers to refractory products with alumina content greater than 90% and corundum as the main crystal phase. High normal temperature compressive strength (up to 340MPa). High load softening start temperature (greater than 1700°C). Very good chemical stability, strong resistance to acidic or alkaline slag, metals and glass liquids. Thermal shock stability is related to its organizational structure. Dense products have good corrosion resistance, but thermal shock stability is poor. Sintered alumina and fused corundum can be used as raw materials, or alumina clinker with high Al2O3/SiO2 ratio can be used in combination with sintered alumina and made by sintering method. Mainly used in iron-making blast furnaces and blast furnace hot blast stoves, refining furnaces outside steel-making furnaces, sliding water heaters, glass melting furnaces, and petrochemical industry furnaces.
As we all know, corundum hardness and melting point are very high. At the same time, corundum also has good resistance to erosion and can still have good stability under the action of slag, metal and glass liquid. Therefore, it can still be used in a high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere or reducing atmosphere with a temperature above 2000°C in a glass furnace.
Features
(1) High temperature resistance, high fire resistance temperature and high load softening temperature.
(2) It is resistant to chemical attack and has strong resistance to acidic solutions or slag.
(3) It is not easy for O2, H2, CO and other gases to react chemically.
(4) The thermal stability is good, the high temperature volume is stable, and it is not easy to expand or contract.
(5) It has good thermal shock resistance, and it is not easy to peel off due to resistance to sudden cold and heat.
(6) High pressure resistance at room temperature, not easy to wear when handling or unloading
